Wilburn D. Lamance, Director
Wilburn D. Lamance is the Director for Morgan County. He started his career at Morgan County Ambulance Service in 1993 as part-time EMT and in 1995 became a full-time employee. He has had extensive training in the Emergency Medical field and graduated from Roane State Community College Paramedic program in 2005, where he earned the Paramedic of the Year Award. He served as Deputy Director for 12 years and became the Director on January 1st, 2019.
We the members of the Morgan County Ambulance Service shall endeavor to provide life safety, incident stabilization and property conservation by providing emergency medical services, planning and public education programs and patient care. These services shall be guaranteed by providing the members of this organization with aggressive and dedicated education and training programs to insure their preparedness to perform the duties required of these services. The personnel, which are the Morgan County Ambulance Service, are dedicated and committed to the service of the citizens of Morgan County and have agreed to remain faithful and dedicated to the meaning of this statement and to the service of their fellow man.

BLS, Basic Life Support Transports
Aeromedical Services: Morgan county EMS is fortunate to have a UT Lifestar medical transport helicopter located at the Rockwood Airport in Morgan County. The aircraft can be rapidly activated by any credentialed provider within our system.
EMR Responder Program: Morgan County EMS oversees an active EMR program with eight local community fire departments providing initial emergency medical care.
Education: Morgan County EMS offers several training opportunities for the citizens and employees of Morgan County. CPR and First Aid Training, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, STOP the Bleed, Friends and Family CPR, EMR Training.
Staff
Chad Sills is the Deputy Director for Morgan County. He started his career at Morgan County Ambulance Service as a full-time EMT-IV on July 3rd, 2008. He has extensive background in Fire, Rescue, EMS and is the Fire Chief at Joyner VFD. Chad graduated the Roane State community Paramedic program in December 2019 and became the Deputy Director of Morgan County on January 1st, 2019.
