Welcome to the Morgan County Clerk’s office page, I am Cheryl Collins, your Morgan County Clerk. I was appointed to the office in 2011 and was elected by the voters of Morgan County in 2012. I very much appreciate the opportunity to serve the citizens of Morgan County. Our office provides many services for the citizen’s and provides a willingness for public service. In providing public service our office still offers Saturday office hours 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for vehicle registration.

The County Clerk issues vehicle title and registration; collects sales tax on exchange of boats between individuals and provides forms for boat registration from the state; issues hunting and fishing licenses; issues marriage licenses. The County Clerk keeps the Morgan County Commission Minutes and maintains a permanent record of Morgan County Commission meetings and records various Committee meetings. She also collects Notary Public commission of $12.00 (applicant must have bond and be approved by Morgan County Commission; takes applications for beer licenses ($250 initial fee). Payments are accepted via cash, check, or credit/debit card. The County Clerk’s Office is on the first floor of the Courthouse. The County Clerk is elected to a four-year term.

  • DRIVER’S LICENSE RENEWAL BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Driver’s License closes 30 minutes prior to office closing – No Driver’s License on Saturday
